March Madness

The buzz…The hype…The dance…The MADNESS!

I love this time of year.  The smell of fresh spring air, the chirping of birds, the blinding sunshine, the sight of green grass, the sound of the ‘crack of the bat’, and of course the best thing – the ‘filling out of the bracket’.  Wow. 

The talk in office is the bracket.  The word on the street is the bracket.  The news on tv is the bracket.  It’s MADNESS.  And I love it. Every year I place my heart and soul into filling out the perfect bracket.  I pick the winner.  I pick the final four.  Then I pick the upsets.  Who will be the cinderella this year, I ask myself?  Yet, every year its never perfect.  Sure…some years my bracket is the good, maybe even the best in the pool…but it’s never perfect. 

Maybe one day.  Until then…

This blog is to share just a small portion of my world with you. In turn, I hope my experience, life, and complete randomness will influence  you to take life series in your part of the Land. 

My part of the world is messed up.  Mostly because I get in the way and mess it up.  Everyday I try to live out the Glory of God in my part of the world…sometimes I succed and many times I fail.  Yet everyday we must pick up our cross and follow him.  Here is a small glimpse of my world…I am a son of God, A husband, A father, A son, A brother, An uncle, A teacher, A coach, A friend and this is what I hope to be…An inspiration, A hero, A man of God. 

I look forward to sharing with you.  But I also look forward to your sharing too.  I believe the only way to make it through life is to share with others.  We are not alone and God did not intend for us to do life on our own.  Together, we can make a difference.
